Empathy Lost
What if, what if I assert this:
"Learn to learn without unlearning yourself".
The more we learn, the less we know.
The more we learn, the less we feel.
It feels like a gear with rust in its thoughts,
cheers to all who ignore this deal.
Ignorance is bliss, sorry if I assert.
Where there's logic, there's a counterfeit.
Now intellect's fooling me, it alters myself,
everyone aims for nonsense, hoping not to blend.
But let's backtrack.
This world still ain't too loud to turn my mind off,
in this screen: no ideas, no humanity to speak of.
But tell me “how you feel”, “what you see”, is it real?
You won't see me, yeah I see, I should stop:
now raise your glass until “empathy’s lost”.
